"Sunflower" I muttered, my voice deep as I was running my right hand on the portrait in front of me. I was admiring her angelic face, which is enough to bring light to my darkness.
Five years ago, when I saw her for the very first time at her brother's office, my heart stopped. Since then, I started to keep an eye on her. I thought it was just an attraction and didn't take it seriously.
But, I was wrong. It wasn't an attraction. It was something else that made me always have her in my mind. I couldn't name it. I tried so many times not to think about her but, I failed. Day by day, the thought of her was increasing.
Then I realized what was happening. Obsession. It was an obsession. I was obsessed with her. That was when I started to follow her everywhere she went. I was looking and watching every moment of her. She drives me crazy.
I couldn't take it anymore. It's been five years since I wanted her so badly but couldn't have her due to the circumstances. But today, I have made up my mind to meet her face to face.

"Amyra." I murmured in a low and calm voice, looking at the angel who is shining bright like a sunshine in the dark hall which was lit with music and dance. Her hair waving with the rhythm of the music as she turned around.
I put on my face mask and walked to her. Each step was careful, slow and calculated. Her eyes were searching for something and finally landed on mine. When, she realized I was coming to her, she started to take a step back and vanished into the crowd.
Oh my innocent baby! Did she really think I can't find her? No matter how hard she tries to run away from me, but in the end, I will find my way to her. Wherever she goes, she sparks her light, which makes it easier for me to find her through the darkness.
The music slowly fading as I kept walking and reached a part of the hall where there was no sign of human beings. My footsteps echoed through the hall and I stopped in a halt, sensing my baby's presence. There were about 6 pillars in the hall and I stopped at the fourth pillar.
In a swift motion, I pulled her out from behind the pillar, grabbing her wrist and pushed her back gently to it as I hovered over her.
Slowly, I lean down to her left ear and whisper "Thinking of escaping me, sunflower?"
"It's getting late and you are still not ready!?" Eyana's voice echoed my room as she threw the pillow on my face. I yanked the pillow and gave her a glare. "I am still confused on what dress to wear." I sighed.
"Hmm" She hummed as she started to take out all my dresses from the cupboard. She spread those dresses on my bed and observed them carefully. I was just looking at her in disbelief.
"Wow! Look at this! It's elegant! This will look so good on you! Wear this, Myra!" saying, she took a silk plain black gown and showed me. "Yes! It is!" I took the gown from her and admired it.
Suddenly it struck me that I never had a gown before. "Wait a minute. I never had a gown before and... I didn't buy this." I exclaimed. "If you didn't buy it, then one of your family members would have. Don't think about it right now. Go and get dressed. Be fast! I will be waiting!" She said as left my room.
"But...who would have bought it?" I asked myself out of curiosity and changed into the gown quickly before Eyana started to shout again.
Now, here we are at the venue, where my senior doctor is getting married. The hall was decorated with different types of flowers, the string lights were wrapped around the pillars that created a warm and inviting atmosphere.
"Hey! Here you are!" The beautiful bride walked to us and greeted us. "Happy married life, Dr Alisha." Eyana and I said together as we gave her our gifts. "Thank you, girls." Saying, the Dr hugged us. "Wait, I will introduce both of you to my husband."
She called her husband, who was talking to a huge man whom I can't see clearly in the crowd. Then, the groom approached us and welcomed us. Eyana and I found that he is a down to earth person while he was talking to us.
After a while, they excused themselves to meet other guests. Just then, I felt a pair of eyes watching me. My neck hair stood up. I could feel the eyes watching my every move.
"Are you okay?" Eyana asked, putting a hand on my shoulder. "Yeah" I answered with a smile. "Eyana!" Someone shouted and came towards Eyana. "Hey!" Eyana said and soon they were busy in their conversation.
Sensing that person's presence behind me, I turned behind to search for the person and my eyes landed on the masked man. It's─him. What on earth is happening!?
I quickly walked away from there and went to a part of the hall where there was no one. As his footsteps echoed the place, I hid behind a pillar. After a moment the footsteps stopped.
My heart was racing. In a blink of an eye, he pulled me from behind the pillar and gently pushed me behind and my back meets the pillar. He then slowly leaned to my ear, his hot breath touching my earlobe as he whispered "Thinking of escaping me, sunflower?"
"Leave me." I protest, trying to free my wrist from his hold. "Never." He said, firmly. "What do you want?" I asked, looking at him in the eyes but instead of answering me, he was just looking at me with his piercing blue eyes. "If I tell you what I want, will you give it to me?" He asked, as his voice deepened.
"If you will leave me, then I definitely will." I said. "But the thing that I want is not something that will make me leave you." He chuckled. My eyes widened at his words. "What...is it?" I asked, my voice shaking and what he said next hit me like a thunderbolt.
